The Textile Association (India) - Delhi (TAI Delhi) is organizing 77th All India Textile Conference on theme - Post Pandemic Global Vision of Textile Industry on 16th & 17th March, 2024 at Indian Institute of Technology, Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

  • The Textile Association (India) (TAI) is the leading and largest national body of textile professionals in India and serving the Indian textile industry since 1939. Currently there are 27 affiliated units at various textile centers in the country, accounting for membership strength of about 26,000.
  • TAI Delhi was established in 1965 and today it is 3rd largest unit of TAI and has more than 2800 members. TAI membership encompasses everyone connected with the textile industry whether from trade, education, research, and consultation as an individual or as an organization. The membership is aimed to provide professional growth to technologists, managers, traders, researchers, entrepreneurs, teachers and consultants in the Indian textile, fashion and related areas.
  • TAI Delhi regularly organizes various activities like conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, industry visits, guest lectures, industry institute interaction, educational tours, social get-togethers, etc. for textile fraternity.

  • Textile Industry has played a vital role in the global economy as most of the developed countries have used this industry as the launch pad for their development.

  • Its potential to generate high employments has also helped the developing countries to step up towards the development.

  • Textile industry plays a very important role in Indian economy as the domestic consumption and exports of textile amounts to significant share of the GDP.

  • This sector contributes to a big share of the total export earnings of the country and directly employs more than 50 million people of the country.

  • The textile market has a strong growth potential and projected to remain on a high growth path.

  • 77th All India Textile Conference will focus on the Theme - Post Pandemic Global Vision of Textile Industry.
